How Come My Doctor Hasn't
Talked To Me About The B.N.B.B.s Yet?

The quickie answer: I don’t know.

The complete answer: Here are a few possibilities:

Maybe your doctor has not read the clinical studies; there are over 3,000 peer-reviewed medical journals available to health-care providers today; there is simply no way for every doctor to keep up, with every article.

Maybe your doctor hasn’t experienced benefits herself / himself yet. There is a major difference between health care providers who talk about nutrition with their patients and health-care providers who take the B.N.B.B.s as described herein. If your health-care provider is not taking the B.N.B.B.s everyday they simply will not know what you are missing out on, nor will they be able to make accurate nutrition assessments or suggestions about them.

After your doctor got out of medical school he or she may have stopped learning; Many doctors go into medicine for the right reasons but once they become part of the westernized medicine associations they have to choose between getting contracts with health management organizations (HMOs) and learning what they were not provided by the medical school they attended. And if your doctor has not been consistently using the B.N.B.B.s they do not know what a great impact they can have on people’s lives.

For the most part, adequate nutrition is not taught in most medical schools. Every medical school in America has its own agenda and its own proprietary teaching methods. In some of the very best medical schools medical students have less than two hours of nutrition training available to them…and those two hours are elective, not required. I know of only one medical school in America which has a program that teaches the information you hold in your hands here. If your physician is not applying the B.N.B.B.s in their own body they simply will not have a clue what their pateints are missing out on.

It’s not your doctor’s specialty. The westernized model of medicine is to make doctors experts in specific areas of the body, e.g. foot doctor, eye doctor, heart doctor, etc. Specialists know a lot about a little area of the body. You see the body is an amazing biological machine with many systems which interact and depend on balance of all the other systems. Specialist doctors could be likened to an arm that is not connected to the body. The arm does not seem to work because it requires all the other systems in order to function. And to top it off, HMOs often require the general practitoners (doctors who know about all the systems of the body), refer their patients to specialists. I cannot tell you how mant times people have told me they went to their specialist who told them everything-about-everything having to do with their health problem but offered no solution other than a drug to cover up the symptoms the body is communicating. Specialists by nature, know the functions of each system they specialize in, yet often fail to recognize that function is the results of properly nourished cells when energy & information, DNA/RNA, body chemistry, tissues, organs, systems and finally basic structure have as much of the B.N.B.B.s they need.

Your doctor may be under pressure by the hospital or clinic to promote drugs and treatments that insurance will pay for. In many clinics and hospitals the physicians’ contract stipulates they must not talk about products, services or treatments which the hospital does not make money on.

Many doctors have not discovered the benefits of “prevention” yet, and or how to make a living at it. Many doctors are taught in medical school that dis-ease is not preventable, just treatable…and we know anything can be successfully treated whether the patient survives the treatment is the question. “The treatment was a success!... but the patient did not make it.”

There are a lot of cheap, worthless, good-for-nothing marketing companies, products and scammers out there, it takes time to learn what’s what, so it’s no wonder your doctor is skeptical. If your doctor is not consistently using the B.N.B.B.s in concentrated food form they are not likely to even provide moral support  in your use of the B.N.B.B.s.

See your doctor if you want your dis-ease “treated” or the signs and symptoms covered up. Most physicians training is limited to diagnosing dis-ease, but then…instead of addressing the real problem, covering up the symptoms while the real problem state goes unchanged. Truth is that most people don't want to change their lifestyle to imrpove their health! Patients tend to demand the doctor do something, but then don't comply with the physician's suggestions!

Many doctors simply do not have the time to study it. HMOs require doctors see a certain number of patients every hour (something like one patient every nine minutes) in order to fulfill their contract. Many doctors do not know what to suggest nutritionally so they refer patients to registered dieticians who are practicing theory-based nutrition which does not work the same.

Your doctor’s liability insurance may not cover giving advice about non prescription medical modalities.

Your doctor’s peers may belittle nutrition and consider it secondary to “real” medicine…you know, the kind that does not teach medical students that the body is made up of the B.N.B.B.s.

It’s really up to you to take responsibilty and prevent the de-generative dis-ease process. If you wait until your doctor tells you to take the B.N.B.B.s everyday you may suffer or even die before the American medical associations admit how important the B.N.B.B.s are. And if you are following the guidelines herein you are safe since we only use concentrated food form B.N.B.B.s. Your doctor simply cannot provide the kind of time and energy you need because there are hundreds of other patients to take care of and the top ten dis-eases (obesity, diabetes, heart dis-ease, cancer etc. are largely related to lifestyle factors anyway… (the things you do as part of your daily routine, e.g. what you eat, how well you exercise and what you think about).

If you do not take care of yourself there is nothing your doctor can do but watch you de-generate. Many doctors would rather treat the dis-ease than help you build health. Most doctors simply teach what they were taught in medical school and often the medical school has to teach what the pharmaceutical company which sponsored the school wants to be taught…in other words, if drugs to cover up the symptoms of too few B.N.B.B.s are not taught and carried out in practice, the money to the school is cut off. Medical school students usually do not know what they will be taught or what the agenda of their particular school is until they are way into it.

Many doctors think their patients just want a pill to cover up the symptom. See your doctor for annual checkups, emergencies and necessary, unavoidable surgeries. Take optimal care of yourself with the B.N.B.B.s. If you do not take care of yourself there is nothing your doctor can do but watch you de-generate.

In many cases patients demand the drugs even though the doctors think there are better alternatives. Doctors know that all drugs are toxic and have side-effects which promote de-generative dis-ease.

Some physicians hate to have their judgement questioned, especially by people they consider lay- people. In some cases the very ego that drives physicians through medical school is the very ego that prohibites physicians from really hearing what you say or from considering options they were not taught about in medical school. If your physician has such an underdeveloped personality that they will not give you moral support that you might think you need at first, get other people to support you….maybe get a second opinion…or a third…or a fourth.

The following is an excerpt from Dr. Atkins book, Vita-Nutrient Solution pages 368-369. To begin with, the establishment oganizations feel that “The best nutritional strategy for optimal health is to obtain adequate nutrients from a wide variety of foods. Supplementation is not appropriate unless scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness is well-accepted.”

In other words, they continue to reject all the scientific evidence I have shown you in which vita-nutrients have proven effective dosages beyond those in normal diet.

Knowing that the insider groups have all endorsed the same positions allows them to fall back on the term “scientific agreement,” which they recognize as the basis for the recommended daily allowances and which they insist should serve as the maximum dosage, should a person wish to take supplements.

They also want “scientific agreement” to determine what can be stated on your vitamin bottle. My answer would be: “Just how would one go about agreeing scientifically?” I presume it means having the agreement of scientists who cooperate with them. In any event, it most certainly does not mean “scientifically performed research,” because that is what they seem to be fighting against.

Dr. Robert C. Atkins M.D, was the founder and medical director of The Atkins Center, a world renowned integrative medicine practice located in Manhattan and author of New Diet Revolution, and Vita-Nutrient Solution.

The following is an excerpt from Dr. Newbold’s book, Mega-Nutrients for your nerves: “Too many of us in the medical profession feel too insecure to accept information tendered by our patients, fearing that our prestige might suffer if we do not appear omniscient. This is a great mistake. An intelligent and observant patient can often be of tremendous help to the doctor, sometimes even when it comes to making a relatively simple diagnosis.”

There is a seeming lot of conflicting nutrition information out there. If a physician doesn't have first-hand experience, successfully applying supplementation of their diet, they certainly aren't going to make recommendations on what hasn't worked for them. For example, Centrum, one of the most popular multi-vitamin supplements on the market uses a study that they were included in as proof of the validity of the safety and effectiveness of their product. This 11 year study showed that Centrum was just as effective as NOTHING. Yet they continue to say their vitamin is the "most studied"

On the other hand, there was an extensive study done at U.C. Berkeley called the Landmark study which showed that every marker for health or dis-ease depending how you look at it (incidence of 1) ndiabetes, 2) heart attack, 3) congestive heart failure, 4) risk of stroke, 5) coronary heart dis-ease, 6) triglycerides, 7) C-reactive protein, 8) homecysteine and 9) HDL) measured IMPROVED  for health and longevity from the use of Shaklee's supplements, which I refer to as the B.N.B.B.s.

So you can see that when they say supplements are ineffective or even dangerous, you have to ask which supplements they are referring to specifically. Not all supplements are the same and you have to be careful.

Even with the last couple weeks of July 2014 there were articles on TV saying children may be getting too much nutrition from their sugary cereals even though the amount of nutrition in most cereals is a fraction of the minimum amounts needed for good health and prevention of dis-ease.

If you want to share this study with your own physician, below is the link.

If you truly want to help your doctors to get good, solid, peer-reviewed information about science based supplements, here is another great link your physicians will likely appreciate.

If you would like a link to the supplements I have taken since 1993 and recommend to my family, friends and clients, look here.
