Helping Loved Ones Who Are Always Sick

I get a lot of questions from people at my classes about how to get family, friends and other loved ones to eat their whole foods, functional-foods and vitamin supplements.

What doesn't work is telling people (who are otherwise stubborn to the idea of having good nutritional hygiene) "what" to "do". (Some people respond to good information by being too zealous in exercising their anonymity that that actually withhold the stuff that would help them and their family / children.)

Some people place higher value on anonymity than they do on good health hygiene...you'll know by how they behave when you suggest something that is truly healthy....they have to have it their way even though what they are doing isn't producing good, measurable results. Until their unconscious value system is updated, they'll take more pleasure in resisting your recommendations than keeping their children healthy. They're compelled to resist! Resisting what would help them and their family members despite themselves is a fluke of human nature! they value saying, "No" over optimizing their health.

In my extensive experience, both personal and professional, the more under-nourished the brain and body, the more resistant loved ones will be in even taking a basic multivitamin.

The more SADCRAP a person has been consuming the more difficult the transition to good nutritional hygiene can be. Nutrition density is an inconvenience to malnutrition.

The most fast (albeit slow & consistent), way to help your loved ones is to take your vitamins in front of them. Don't tell them to do it. Don't talk about it.

Like my pit bull Sweetie, it had to be her idea... then she thought it was her idea all along!

By simply doing the nutrition in front of them, the dots get connected without the ego getting triggered.

The more unhealthy, malnourished the person (the more they need nutrition density) the more resistant they usually are to begin with.

Malnutrition creates emotional fluctuations and outbursts.

Make your smoothie in front of them and don't offer any to them.

This is not simply reverse psychology. This is demonstrating success instead of talking about it. The malnourished brain usually over rides what is correct for the person themselves. But, the dots get connected without engaging the ego by doing "it" in front of them.

During the 1700's, Capt. James Cook realized his ship crew wouldn't eat the sauerkraut needed to prevent vitamin C deficiency. So, he set huge bowls of sauerkraut on the officer's dining table and restricted it's consumption to officers only. Then the rest of the crew wanted it for themselves and never knew the difference.

Remember, the more malnourished a person whether a child or senior citizen, the more they resist and argue (tantrum) as though the don't want nutrition, nor any type of supplement which could deliver nutrient density.

Once the brain is dependent on SADCRAP it resists nutrient density, an addiction symptom.

The higher the nutrition density in the brain, the more nutrition the person will crave.

"Catch-22".

Ultimately, a shift has to occur within the person in order for the improvement in lifestyle to stick: it has to be their idea, either as a way to avoid something or gain something...they have to be invested.

Don't tell, SHOW.
